Apprenticeship training is funded by the government through the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA). If you pay the Apprenticeship Levy, you can use your levy funds to cover the cost of training. If you do not pay the levy, the government will fund 95% of the training costs, with the employer contributing just 5%.
Employers with fewer than 50 employees may be eligible for fully funded training for apprentices aged 16 to 18. Additional incentive payments may also be available.
